My name is Stephanie Schoembs and I am a currently a teacher at Navy
Elementary School. This will be my fifth year teaching. I started my teaching career in North Carolina in a 4th grade classroom. I then moved to DC and taught 5th grade for one year in DC Public Schools. I have been at Navy Elementary for the past 3 years where I have taught 5th grade and am now the STEM resource teacher. I am currently
earning my Masters Degree at George Mason University in the ITS program. Throughout the course of attending George Mason I have become passionate about advocating for proper usage of technology within the school setting. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, taking my dog on
walks, and doing yoga.
